With reference to your Despatch No. 129 of

the 21st. June, 1917, regarding the liquidation of the

Deutsch Asiatische Bank, I have the honour to inform you that

the liquidator of the branch in this Colony has been instruct-

-ed to communicate with the liquidators of the Singapore and

Calcutta branches of the Bank with a view to settling the

accounts between the branches.

When the adjustment of these accounts is

completed the liquidator in this Colony will be instructed to

comunicate direct with Sir William Plender, Controller of

the London Establishment of the Disconto-Gesellschaft with a

view to discharging the liabilities of the bank to that

establishment.
